Thank You, Faith Formation Volunteers!

We want to acknowledge our very generous parishioners who have just finished a challenging 8-9 months of weekly volunteer service in the Faith Formation programs of Nativity of Our Lord.


Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Thanks to Nancy Barrett (pictured), her husband Paul, and Nancy Shatek-Suek and the gift of their time, talent, and passion for the Catholic Faith, Nativity was able to continue its 4th year of this Montessori-based teaching of the Catholic Faith.


RCIA Sponsors

Randy Hamilton, Julie Clements, Mike Ryan, Troy and Lyssa Newlove, Brian Kampa, Cindy Dawis, Mary Kay Devine, Greg and Elvina Richardson, and Martha Radtke faithfully met with the Candidates they sponsored in the weekly RCIA sessions — and beyond — since September 4.


Sunday Morning Children’s Liturgy of the Word

An especially big thank you to Kailey Shern Buse who oversaw the Children’s Liturgy of the Word and supervised all the other volunteers who taught our children during the 9:30am liturgies: Betsy Johnson, Jennifer Stewardson, Katie Geyer Johnson, and Mary Eckberg.


Wednesday Evening Faith Formation

Catechists Diane Reineke; Laurie Murphy; Chris and Dave Zens; Caitlin Stollenwerk; Linda and David Kracht; and our SJV Seminarians, Christopher Yanta, Kevin Schafer, Christian Sinclair, and Zach Ochsenbauer have all been working hard as catechists since September 19. Joining them have been our faithful substitute catechists: Bob Anderson, Claire Moore, Tony Vasquez, Amy O’Neil, and Sean Kennedy.

To each and every one of these generous volunteers, we want to give our heartfelt thanks for helping your fellow Nativity parishioners grow in their understanding and love of our beautiful Catholic faith.
