How wonderful and inspiring it was to return to worship in Nativity of Our Lord’s upper church this month!
The summer maintenance project, involving pew restoration, floor refinishing, and lighting upgrades in the Nativity upper church proceeded smoothly, on-time and on-budget, during the allotted ten weeks.
Nativity is so grateful for the expertise and efficiency of the following contractors and their teams of craftsmen: Gunder Church Furniture, Dakota City, IA; Wood Renovators, Waupaca, WI; Hunt Electric, Bloomington, MN; Prism Lighting, St. Paul, MN; and Floors by Steve, St. Paul, MN—who all worked under the coordination and direction of Nativity Facilities Director Steve Boatman.
Special thanks are extended to the many parishioners whose donations, over and above offertory, were critical in completing this renovation, as well as volunteers who served in too many capacities to list here.
And, most of all, thanks to Nativity parishioners who kept this project in their prayers and faithfully participated in the Mass in Steiner Hall. Christ’s blessings on the many hands and hearts that contributed to a successful completion.
