Nativity Seminarian Deacon Michael Daly

Hail Nativity!  My name is Michael Daly.  I was born in Rochester, MN and grew up in St. Paul.  I am the third of four children with loving parents, Peter and LuLu. I attended Highland Catholic grade school, Saint Thomas Academy, and the University of Notre Dame.  I grew up playing football, hockey and lacrosse and enjoying the outdoors, especially at the cabin up north.

Since I was 11 years old, my family frequently traveled on medical missions to the Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos orphanage in Honduras.  I was on track for medical school until the Lord called me to be his priest while working with the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India during college.  It was through my repeated encounters with Jesus in the Eucharist as well as Jesus in the poor that I heard his call.  Please pray for me and all those being ordained, and know of my continual prayers!
