+Hebda Named Archbishop

Dear parishioners and friends,

As you have likely heard, Pope Francis last week formally announced Archbishop Bernard Hebda’s appointment as Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. Archbishop Hebda has been serving as Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese since June 15, 2015. Despite recent difficult times in our Archdiocese, this appointment signals fresh beginnings. Please keep Archbishop Hebda and our Archdiocese in your prayers. The Archbishop’s Installation Mass is scheduled for 2pm on Friday, May 13 at the Cathedral of Saint Paul. I have asked that two letters from our new Archbishop, one to the entire archdiocese and one to its priests, be published in the bulletin (they can also both be found on the blog).
