The last few weeks have certainly posed weather challenges for us all, in getting to school, Mass, and parish events. I want to thank you all for your patience and dedication in braving the weather to fulfill liturgical ministry commitments and Adoration hours and to worship together at daily and weekend liturgies. Your presence and steadfastness makes Nativity of Our Lord the strong and thriving community that it is!
Our parish is particularly indebted to Celeste Pariana, our long-time volunteer sacristan, who has decided to step away from her sacristy duties at this time. Certainly, all of us here at Nativity — clergy, parishioners, and students alike — have benefited from Celeste’s many years of generous service. May Christ continue to bless Celeste for her stewardship at Nativity. Patrick Henning, Director of Liturgy, will assume sacristy leadership at this time.
Incidentally, we have a few changes in the parish office to announce. Isaac Huss is broadening his responsibilities, serving now as Director of Communications and Marketing. B.J. Kranz will be concentrating on all Nativity parish development, including stewardship, endowments, and planned giving.
Tim Huberty will continue to serve as parish secretary, managing contacts and inquiries at the Lannan Center front desk, and serve also as my assistant. As administrative secretary, Marian Layman is now the archivist for the church records and sacraments, while managing the new parishioner ministry and other parish needs.
If you need assistance in any of these areas, please continue to contact the front desk at info@nativity-mn.org or (651) 696-5401 for direction.
God’s blessings on you and your family in the coming week.
