November 23, 2024The entire parish and community is invited to three Advent Days of Recollection as we introduce the mission and vision of our pastor, Fr. Rolf Tollefson, in the new liturgical year and Synod Year 2.
Beginning Saturday, November 23, Fr. Tollefson invites each family to take an Advent reflection booklet with them to help them celebrate the season.
On Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8, Fr. Tollefson will preach at each Lord’s Day Mass and share his new Mission and Vision. There will also be a special time of Adoration that Sunday from 1-4:45pm.
On Monday, December 9, there will be a presentation by Fr. John Paul Erickson entitled "How to Celebrate Like a Catholic" at 6pm and a 7pm Mass by candlelight in honor of the Immaculate Conception.*
Finally, on Tuesday, December 10 will be our annual Advent Reconciliation Service at 7pm. Please note this is happening earlier in the Advent season than usual.

*Archbishop Hebda has offered a dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, transferred this year to Monday, December 9 (from Sunday, December 8 in deference to the Second Sunday of Advent).
