Outdoor Holy Communion

Those unable to attend Holy Thursday or Good Friday liturgies in person are invited to receive Communion outside immediately following the 3:00 PM Celebration of Our Lord's Passion (about 4:00 PM or soon thereafter), no reservations required.

Receiving Communion Outside of Mass

Communicants should not be aware of any mortal sins committed since his or her last Confession, and be in doctrinal communion with the Catholic Church, i.e. assent to her core authentic teachings.

Fast for at least an hour from food or beverage (except water) before receiving. You might consider viewing a live-streamed Mass or praying a rosary to prepare. Finally, please wash your hands well immediately before arriving.

We have worked hard to create a safe environment with increased sanitization, mask wearing, and six feet of distancing between households — while also respecting our sacramental life — to bring you beautiful liturgies.

All Catholics continue to be dispensed from any obligation to the sacraments while the pandemic persists, so this opportunity is entirely optional.
