Our parish community is committed to supporting parishioners who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Grief is an individualized journey but is often eased by sharing your experience with others.
The group uses the full curriculum from "Seasons of Hope" materials, including a journal. Parishioner and seasoned grief support group leader Maria Tice Tienter, R.N. facilitates.
The Nativity of Our Lord Grief Support Group is now meeting for six sessions running from February 13 through March 19. (Please note another six sessions will begin again in April. Stay tuned for a new start-up date.)
This is an open group in which you can attend at any time, so please join us whenever you are able. You don't need to wait for the next six-week session in April to begin.
Our hope is to simply create a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental atmosphere to provide comfort in your time of sorrow.
Every session provides you with support and fellowship in mourning any loss you've experienced, like the death of a loved one, a job loss, a broken relationship, a major illness, or divorce.
What matters is coming and finding the support along your journey of healing.
