Join us for a night of Beauty on Friday, October 28 at 6pm at The Olive Branch boutique (1832 St. Clair Ave.) as it hosts its first gallery night, featuring the work of local Catholic artists.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments and special shop offerings as well as an opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy meaningful fellowship.
This is a public, all-ages (and not an official Nativity of Our Lord) event, but young adults of the parish are particularly invited. Invite a friend, bring ideas for future young adult events, and #jointhemovement!
"The graced eye can glimpse beauty anywhere, for beauty does not reserve itself tor special elite moments or instances; it does not wait for perfection but is present already secretly in everything. When we beautify our gaze, the grace of hidden beauty becomes our joy and our sanctuary." - John O'Donohue
Urban Catholic is a dynamic young adult movement at Nativity of Our Lord, with a mission to provide the young adults at Nativity an opportunity to grow in knowledge and love of Our Lord so as to better unite ourselves to him and more perfectly live out his will for us both within and beyond the church’s doors.
Urban Catholic assembles the young adults of Nativity together to be strengthened in sacramental grace, practical catechesis, and meaningful fellowship.
We seek to grow together in Christ, to forge stronger bonds with the greater parish community, and ultimately be a great leaven among all of God’s people to advance his Kingdom here on earth, starting right here in the heart of urban St. Paul, Minnesota, U.S.A.
