Fr. Jim Lies 25th Ordination Anniversary

All are invited to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood of Fr. James Lies, C.S.C.  

Fr. Jim is a priest of Holy Cross at Notre Dame and lived at the Nativity of Our Lord rectory while doing graduate studies at the University of Minnesota from 2002-2005 when the now-Bishop Peter Christensen was pastor.

Fr. Jim describes Nativity as the place where his priesthood most significantly intersected with the life of the Church. 

On the occasion of his 25th Anniversary of Ordination, he said, “I cannot think of anywhere else I would rather celebrate my anniversary then at Nativity of Our Lord!” 

Fr. Jim will preside at both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Masses on Sunday, July 24, and the Nativity Men’s Club will host a special Donut Sunday in his honor immediately following each Mass.
