Christmas Liturgies

Christmas at Nativity of Our Lord represents a high point for the liturgical life of our parish, and for good reason: not only is it one of the two highest feasts of the Church year, it’s the patronal feast day of our parish!
 
Please join us in worship on the Nativity of Our Lord, as we offer Mass in person and live-streamed.*
   

We invite you to make plans to join us for Mass on both the 4th Sunday of Advent as well as Christmas — which this year fall on consecutive days.

To fulfill both the Sunday obligation and the Holy Day obligation, attendance at two separate Masses is required: one for the Christmas liturgy (Monday, 12/25 or the afternoon/evening of Sunday, 12/24), and an additional Mass on Sunday, 12/24 or the evening of Saturday, 12/23.

4th Sunday of Advent:

• Vigil (Saturday, 12/23): 5:00 PM
• Sunday, 12/24: 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM

Nativity of Our Lord:

• Christmas Eve (Sun., 12/24): 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, (no 5:00 PM), 6:00 PM
• Midnight Mass: 12:00 AM (prelude begins at 11:30 PM on 12/24)
• Christmas Day (Monday, 12/25): 7:30 AM, (no 9:00 AM), 11:00 AM, (no 5:00 PM)

We are grateful to our many parishioners and friends who offer a special Christmas donation above and beyond their weekly stewardship contribution. Even while some of our Christmas liturgies fall on a Sunday this year, we would like to invite you to again consider an extraordinary contribution in honor of the Nativity of Our Lord, our patronal feast day.  Thank you!

Please also note the following:

• Overflow seating will be available downstairs in Steiner Hall for all Christmas liturgies.
• There will be no 5:00 PM Mass on Sunday, December 24.
• The parish office will be closed 12/25 and 12/26.
• There will be no Adoration December 24-25.
• There will be no Rosary for Life on 12/25 or 1/1.
• The church locked after Midnight Mass until Tuesday morning (except for Christmas Masses).
