Young adults: How's that prayer thing going for you?
If you answered, "Not great, Bob," well don't fret.
In fact, we really can’t *force* communication with God — or even faith itself; we can only prepare the space, if you will.
Join fellow young adults as Fr. Nick Hagen continues “A Catholic Plan for Life,” a series of Urban Catholic Lord’s Day reflections designed to help you reorient your life to what matters the most.
This Sunday, Fr. Nick Hagen will present "Mystagogy (Prayer)" and discuss how to further cultivate a life of prayer amidst the noise of #youngadulting.
Confessions will be available starting at 4pm, with the presentation at 4:30pm. Then, join us for Mass with the parish at 5pm, followed by a social hour.
Don't miss this opportunity to be transformed by the renewal of your mind, to worship the living God, and build meaningful relationships.
Schedule:
If you can't come for the whole thing, feel free to come for whatever you can.
Your age: 21+
Your dress: Your Sunday best, of course. (Business casual is just fine.)
Cost: Nada. But please consider a $5 donation.
Fr. Nick Hagen (pictured) is parochial vicar at Nativity of Our Lord and chaplain of Urban Catholic. You can learn more about him here.
