The Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) provides funding for groups that make lasting change and uplift the poor in the United States.
CCHD’s grants improve education, support economic development, and create affordable housing in low-income neighborhoods. Help us continue to defend human dignity and build communities of solidarity.
Founded in 1970 by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, CCHD is a domestic, anti-poverty program supporting community and economic development programs locally and nationally.
One organization receiving CCHD grants in our archdiocese is Hispanic Outreach of Goodhue County. The organization advocates for equal and just treatment for Hispanic people in the areas of housing, safety, and immigration rights. Please support and improve the lives of those working on the margins through this effort.
You can contribute by bringing an earmarked donation to the parish office or at any Lord's Day Masses this weekend during the 2nd collection. Checks can be made out to the "Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis."
