Sunday at the 11:00 AM Mass we celebrate the Rites of Acceptance and Welcoming for our RCIA Catechumens and Candidates, an essential step along the way towards full initiation into our Catholic Church.
Please join us in praying for them now and throughout their year of preparation, culminating at the Easter Vigil in the spring.
On Sunday we'll also introduce and honor our RCIA team who is present this morning. We thank them for their service to the Church, and we invite you to pray for them as they help prepare our Catechumens and Candidates for the sacraments.
Open RCIA Sessions
All are invited to join the Catechumens and Candidates for seven open RCIA sessions to learn more about and grow in our Catholic faith.
The sessions include the first Tuesday evening of each month as well as two bonus sessions in February.
About RCIA
RCIA, or the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, is the process by which Christians and non-Christians alike seek to enter full Communion with Christ’s Catholic Church.
The process includes weekly sessions of catechesis, or teaching, that can be great opportunities for the rest of us to educate or re-educate ourselves in God and his Church.
