If you walk into the Lannan Center parish office, you will hear the faint laughter of young children engaged in play and learning at our Nativity Early Learning Center (NELC).
A child’s earliest years include some of the most unique and valuable stages of life. At the NELC, our most important responsibility is to provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive setting for children.
We are committed to supporting each child’s development by recognizing and respecting individual differences and potential.
We currently have openings in our full day programs as well as our after school program. We offer a variety of flexible schedules, including 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-day options. We are open Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6pm.
The Nativity of Our Lord Early Learning Center is hiring part-time teachers who can be a positive and energetic presence in our classrooms.
We are looking for candidates who can plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities, interact well with children and parents, and work collaboratively with a teaching team.
These part-time positions are ideal for high school students and college students who meet Rule 3 Teacher and/or Aid/Assistant Teacher qualifications (i.e., have completed at two years of college.)
We offer competitive pay and valuable teaching experience that can help students be more successful in finding employment after graduation. In this position, you will be paired with a teaching team to provide you with guidance and mentoring.
The NELC is a partnership of children, parents, and staff dedicated to developing the whole child and preparing each child for a successful school experience.
The NELC serves children 33 months - 5th grade.
