Hello!
My name is Beth Giese and I am the new Director of Advancement at Nativity of Our Lord. I am deeply honored to be joining the Nativity family in service to the parish and school.
Growing up in Neenah, Wisconsin, my family’s home away from home was St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church and School. It is where I was educated, where my family socialized and volunteered, and where we lived out our faith journey.
St. Gabe’s is where I learned that true wealth is found in the spiritual friendships you share within a loving community that shares common values. I believe Nativity’s mission echoes the special experience I had growing up in Wisconsin.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in political science at UW-Madison. After graduating, I explored West Coast living for a few years in Los Angeles, where I began my career in philanthropy and stewardship at Mount St. Mary’s University, a sister school of St. Catherine University in St. Paul.
I am blessed with two children: a daughter, Hannah, who is finishing a Bachelor’s in biology at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, and a son, Charles, who is completing his first year in the electrical construction and maintenance program at Dakota County Technical College.
As I explored this new role and learned so much about Nativity, I was immediately impressed by three things: the exceptional parish and school leadership, wise and dedicated volunteer leaders, and a genuinely engaged community of Nativity families.
Having previously served Visitation School in Mendota Heights, I will be delighted to continue to nurture the relationships I have built with Nativity of Our Lord parishioners and school families that overlap with Visitation, and I am excited to foster many new relationships with the broader Nativity family.
I hope to meet you soon!
