Congratulations Deacon Hottinger

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Please join me, on behalf of Fr. Nick Hagen, the parish staff and lay leadership, and the entire Nativity of Our Lord parish community, in congratulating Brother David Hottinger, P.E.S. on his ordination to the transitional diaconate on Saturday, May 23.

Brother David, the second of George and Molly Hottinger’s six children, is a beloved son of Nativity and we are so very proud of him as he answers Our Lord’s call to serve him at the altar in this way.

Br. David joined the religious community of Pro Ecclesia Sancta at the Church of St. Mark in 2012. (He was pictured on the front cover of our May 17 bulletin there along with his classmate, Br. Joseph Barron, at their final vows for the order.) God willing, he’ll be ordained a priest for the order next May, 2021.
